Ministry of Education Summary Report of Education Situation ,Year 1388 1.3.1.11 Employees Graph 16: Employees by Gender, GE Again the figures are shown by provinces with gender and different types of employees. Figure shows that Kabul city has highest number of employees and Zabul has lowest number of employees. Graph 17: Employees By Gender & Province, GE Ministry of Education 20 There are a total of 188,826 employees for the General Education. These employees are teachers, Administrative Staffs and Ajirs (contractual employees). They are 58% male teachers, 25% female teachers, 3% male administrative staffs, less than 1% female administrative staff, 12% male Ajirs and 1% female Ajirs. EMIS Directorate
Ministry of Education Summary Report of Education Situation ,Year 1388 1.3.1.12 Teachers by gender and Qualification The graph below shows teachers’ qualifications and gender. There are more teachers who completed grade 12 for both male and female. There are also teachers who completed grade 14 or grade 7 to 11for male and female. There are more under-graduate female teachers than male teachers. 12% of male teachers attended private schools while only 2% of female teachers have.
