Of the 61 TVET schools, 72% <strong>of</strong> schools have toilet<br />

information. Total numbers <strong>of</strong> toilets in all provinces<br />

are 508, 65% are operational, 30% are modern non<br />

operational and 5% are old non operational toilets.<br />

There are 18296 students, 93% are in Cold Season Enrolment and 7% are in Hot Season Enrolment.<br />

The school calendar in Afghanistan is based on<br />

three climatic conditions. They are:<br />

� Hot (warm) climate<br />

� Cold climate<br />

� Extreme cold climate<br />

Of the 61 TVET schools, 69% are running in Cold<br />

Session, 13% are running in Hot Season. There are<br />

no schools running in Coldest Session. The status<br />

<strong>of</strong> 18% <strong>of</strong> schools is unknown.<br />
