1.3.1.12 Teachers by gender and Qualification
The graph below shows teachers’ qualifications and gender. There are more teachers who completed
grade 12 for both male and female. There are also teachers who completed grade 14 or grade 7 to
11for male and female. There are more under-graduate female teachers than male teachers. 12% of
male teachers attended private schools while only 2% of female teachers have.

19% of teacher completed grade 14 and
11% of teachers completed grade 7 to 11.
7% of teachers have under graduate
degrees and few teachers have master
degree.
