There are 34,020 students in Teacher Training, 86% are in cold season enrolment and 14% are in<br />

hot season enrolment. There are no students for coldest season enrolment.<br />

The school calendar in Afghanistan is based on three<br />

climatic conditions. They are:<br />

� Hot (warm) climate<br />

� Cold climate<br />

� Extreme cold climate<br />

Of 42 TTC, 69% are running in Cold Session, 19% are<br />

running in Hot Season and status 12% TTC is unknown.<br />

There are no schools running during coldest season.<br />

The graph below is shown by provinces with gender and different types <strong>of</strong> employees. Figure shows<br />

that Kabul city has highest number <strong>of</strong> employees and Nuristan has lowest number <strong>of</strong> employees.<br />

There are 1,544 employees for TTC. These employees<br />

are teachers, Administrative Staffs and Ajirs<br />

(contractual employees). There are 53% male<br />

teachers, 12% female teachers, 11% male<br />

administrative staffs, less than 1% female<br />

administrative staffs, 21% male Ajirs and 2% female<br />

Ajirs.<br />
