Setting upyour insuranceCan premiums change?MLC may change (increase or decrease) how it setspremiums at any time. As a result, your premiums change.However, MLC will:• give you one month’s written notice before it changesyour premiums• only change your premiums as at the review datefollowing any change• not single you out for a change in premiums.Premium rates for each type of insurance are availableupon request by calling the MLC Client Service Centreon 132 652.Policy fee and other chargesAll the charges of the policy (other than the premium) arefully described in this section. MLC undertakes not toapply any other charges without your specific consent.Policy feeA policy fee applies to each policy for which you apply.However if you have purchased Total and PermanentDisability and/or Critical Illness insurance as a ConnectedBenefit where the Life Cover is issued on a separatepolicy, only one policy fee will apply and the policy feewill be applied to the policy with the Life Cover. Note:if the connected Life Cover policy is cancelled and theconnected policy remains in force the current policy feeapplicable at the time will be reinstated.The premiums charged include the policy fee, which willincrease every year in line with the CPI at the review dateon or after 1 October each year.
