The resonance-cavitation theory upon which this research is to be based,has been presented in the proposal, submitted to thdated 27 March 1954.3. The program as originally submAtted estimated the duration of the programto be from three to five years requesting a total of $72,109 for the initialyear.4. At the request of the a reduced budget was submitted., 5. .amounting to $24,925, was then awarded to theto support this program from 1 Feb 1955t Feb 1950.6. The progress made to date under the above contract can be summarized asfollows:A. RESEARCH FACILITIESThe following research facilities have been established for theinvestigation of the very diverse aspects of the problems beingstudied:Atotal of 250 square feet of laboratory and office spaceequipped with much of the diversified machinery and apparatusnecessary for research in this field.b.
