Contract # GS00T01AHD0002Proposal to add Federal Telecommunications Service – Long Distance (FTS-LD)Requirements Document Sections C.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1(b) through C.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1(e)(6), willbe provided as indicated below:1. Audio Conferencing (C.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.b.1) ⎯ A caller can reach an operator forthe purpose of reserving audio teleconferencing calls as well as setting upsuch calls on demand and connecting all conferees. The operator uses AT&Tconference bridges for this purpose.2. Call Completion Assistance (C.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.b.2) ⎯ A caller can reach anoperator for the purpose of assisting with dialing difficulties and completingsuch calls. For all of these calls, the operator remains on the line until the callhas been completed.3. Locator Service Numbers (C.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.b.3) ⎯ A caller can reach anoperator for the purpose of providing locator service numbers via a databaselookup. These numbers comprise Government-provided agency numbers forall agencies subscribing to FTS-LD contracts. The caller can subsequentlycall directly to complete a call to a specific individual or organization. Callerscan receive further information from the agency regarding completion of thecall. These numbers will be provided to AT&T by the Government, and willbe updated periodically. AT&T will maintain its locator database for theGovernment.4. Authorization Code Verification (C.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.b.4) ⎯ A caller can reach anoperator to verify an authorization code given verbally to the operator andsubsequently complete the call to the required destination, if allowed. Suchoperator access is possible from on-net and off-net locations, and thefunctionality of authorization code verification is the same as for operator callcompletion specified in Requirements Document requirementC.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.<strong>2.2</strong>.1.b.2.
