Thisbroadly-based and ubiquitous network has supported SVS for the vast majority ofFederal Agencies, including the following Departments and agencies: the USDA,DOC, DoED, DOE, HHS, DOI, DOL, DOJ, DOS, DOT, Treasury Department andDepartment of Veterans Affairs.2.2.1.1.1 Basic Service Description (C.2.2.1.1.1)AT&T’s FTS-LD SVS will support connections for voice or analog data up to at least9.6 kbps using an ITU-TSS V.32 modem, and 28.8 kbps using and ITU-TSS V.34modem. It will allow voice calls initiated from on-net and off-net locations, afterverification of authorization code, to be connected to all on-net locations and off-netlocations by direct station-to-station dialing. Authorization codes will be provided toFTS-LD users for calling identification and Class of Service (COS). Credit card-sizedauthorization code cards will be provided for FTS-LD users to gain access to on-netSVS and features from off-net originating locations. Calls will be launched viadialing a commercial ___________ for authorization prior to reaching the on-netterminating location.AT&T is fully compliant with ANSI T1.101 and all applicable Bellcore and ANSIstandards, including Bellcore’s BOC Notes on the LEC Networks, and ANSI ISDNand Signaling System 7 (SS7) standards.Access to the network will be provided in a variety of ways, including switchedaccess through the access provider, and via dedicated T1 or T3 facilities as requiredin the Requirements Document Section C.2.1.16.
