Contract # GS00T01AHD0002Proposal to add Federal Telecommunications Service – Long Distance (FTS-LD)the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of Government including numerousindependent agencies.Through our calling cards, which can be used both domestically and internationally,we support access to U.S. Directory Assistance, International Directory Assistance,US Toll Free Numbers Toll-Free Access and Language Line Service. Also availableare Sequential Calling for up to 10 consecutive calls and a Misdial feature. Thesefeatures are discussed in their respective sections of this proposal.AT&T’s WIN employs state-of-the-art components and technology. Fiber-optic cableis the primary medium of POP-to-POP transmission, whereby users will enjoy thefull benefits of a digital voice and analog data (voiceband) environment. Ourarchitecture affords several important user benefits. While several of these aregeneral rather than voice-specific attributes of the WIN, they warrant mention herebecause of their importance in handling the high-volume demand for voice service.Circuit Switched Service will likely be the most widely subscribed service of AT&T'sFTS-LD offer. AT&T’s established network design, deployment, support, andadministrative and maintenance capabilities will ensure agency users of high-quality,cost-effective, and reliable service throughout the life of the contract modification(See Technical Approach to Service Delivery, Figure 1-1, The AT&T ServiceRealization Process). AT&T’s high-speed, fiber-optic, digital network withdistributed feature intelligence and reliable Grade of Service (GOS) is supported bythe expertise we have developed in similar large-network offerings.
