Code Block ⎯ This feature will screen ineligible users, stations, and trunkswith certain COS access restrictions from calling specified area codes,exchange codes, and countries.+ Time and Day Restrictions ⎯ The nature of the definitions of classes ofservice for FTS-LD indicates that code blocking is a natural part of thescreening process. As described earlier in this section, the caller groupspoint to screening groups, the selection of which is time of day, day ofweek, or day of year.+ On-Network or Off-Network Restrictions ⎯ The screening group lists, bydefinition, the numbers or series of numbers that are either allowed or notallowed to be reached by the caller group. In this way, ineligible users,stations, and trunks can be blocked from calling any combination of areacodes, countries, exchange codes, or even individual numbers, both on-netand off-net.
