86 Chapter 3 – Processing a Job on the Lotem 800 II / Lotem Quantum from the Brisque Workstation2. Double-click the Store icon. The Store dialog box appears.You already defined the storage mode and storage location parameterswhen you created the Brisque template (see page 74). Continue to the nextstep to define the remaining Store parameters.Job Handling parameters control the way the Brisque handles files duringthe Store operation, and define whether Job elements are copied or movedto defined destinations.3. The Job Handling parameters include several options; select one ofthe following options from the pull-down menu:• Copy Job—to copy all Job elements to the destination location.The original Job file remains in its source folder.
Defining the Store Parameters 87• Move Job—to move the Job to selected destination location. Filesare first copied to destination location and then deleted from thesource folder. Pages and CT/LW files of an Imposition Job arecopied to the destination location, but not deleted from the sourcefolder. To automatically delete these files, use the Move Job andOriginal Page option (see below).• Move Job and Original Pages—to move an Imposition Job. Thesame function applies as the Move option (see above), however thePages and CT/LW files are deleted from the source folder after theentire contents of the Imposition Job are moved.• Overwrite Files—to overwrite files with the same name in thedestination folder. If this option is cleared, the Store fails when fileswith the same name exist in the destination folder.Note: Copy Job and Move Job also apply to files or Marks selected with theAttachments option (see following step). The Automatic Store of Marks optionis currently unavailable.4. Use Attach more files to Store to include original pre-RIP (forexample, PDF or Postscript files) and/or plate-mark files with thestored elements of the Job.• Select Attach more files to Store for file attachment handling.• From the Attach more files to Store menu, select In Run Time. TheAttachments button will become unavailable. When Store isactivated during the automated Brisque workflow, you will beprompted to select the location and elements to be attached afterthe Plate Expose is complete - see step 6 on page 89.5. Make sure to select Update Storage Manager to inform the Storeprocedure to update the Storage Manager database on the Brisque.6. The On Press Store parameters are now defined. In the main Storedialog box, click OK to return to the Job Ticket Editor dialog box.The next section describes how to submit the Job Ticket for processing onthe Brisque.
