xUsing This ManualWho Should Use This ManualThis manual is intended for anyone who is involved in using oradministering a Brisque to Lotem 800 II / Lotem Quantum Familyworkflow. It explains how to use the software and points out proceduresthat are specific to your workflow.Important: The Lotem 800 II Family in this manual refers to the Lotem 800 II(S, F and V speed), Lotem 800 II Quantum (S, F and V speed), Lotem 800 II withSpectrum and the Lotem 800 II Quantum with Spectrum. Lotem Quantumrefers to Lotem 850 Quantum and Lotem 400 Quantum. Unless otherwisespecified, Lotem 800 II / Lotem Quantum refers to all machines.Note: All screen grabs are taken from the Lotem Quantum unless otherwisespecified.To use this manual, you should:• have a working knowledge of prepress operations• be familiar with the Windows operating system• have a basic working knowledge of the Lotem device.This manual assumes that:• All the hardware, software, and network components of your Creosystem are installed, configured, and operating correctly.• Files submitted to the Creo system are free of common errors usuallyresolved during preflight, such as missing fonts and PostScript errors.• You have read the documentation of Brisque 4.0 and your Lotem 800 II/ Lotem Quantum Device (Lotem 400, Lotem 800 II Family , Lotem800 II Family with Spectrum), and have a basic understanding of usingboth systems.
