Once a Job is moved to the Long Term storage mode,you cannot perform regular Brisque operation on it. Only when the entireJob is manually retrieved from the archive and placed in an accessibleBrisque volume can the Job be handled again.The Storage Manager application keeps a log file for each stored Job. Eachlog file contains the storage location of the entire Job and a time log of thestorage operation. The log file is stored on a local/remote Brisque volume,a Jaz disk (removable media), or on a server. The log file in the StorageManager allows you to rapidly locate and retrieve the storage location ofthe archived Job and its attached elements.Note: Modifying the Job Storage Mode is limited by the unique properties andlimitations of each Storage Mode. See the Storage Manager chapter in theBrisque 4.0 User Guide for details.Long Term StorageTo change the storage mode of a stored Job:1. Launch the Storage Manager on the Brisque.2. In the On Press section of the Storage Manager dialog box, select theJob Sample1.job.3. From the Job menu, select Move to Long Term Mode. A Moveconfirmation prompt appears.Note: Changing the Job Storage Location is the only parameter you canmodify. You cannot modify the Attach Files or Job Handling parameters.• Click Yes to change the Storage parameters; the Store Parametersdialog box opens and you can change the Job storage location.• Or, click No; the existing Storage parameters for the Job will beused.The Storage Manager stores the Job in the selected Storage Location andupdates the Storage Mode of the Job in the Storage Manager list.
