Source: Corps 1989.The spillway is a reinforced concrete ogee section of the overflow gravity type, having a grosslength of 469 feet and a crest elevation of 700 feet, NGVD1929. The spillway has sevensubmersible drum gates, each 57 feet long. A drum gate is designed to float on water in achamber located in the spillway crest. The water, which is being spilled, flows over the top of thedrum onto the ogee section of the spillway. The drum is raised by hydrostatic pressure and itsProject Description 2-3
