09 Maintenance and service09Replacing bulbsMain beamActive Bi-Xenon headlampsSide marker lamps and position/parking lampsDirection indicators– Switch off all lights and turn ignition key toposition 0.– Remove the cover.– Turn the bulb anticlockwise and pull it out.– Undo the connector by pressing the catchout and then pulling.– Plug the connector into the bulb, a click isheard.– Refit the bulb, turn it in position.– Refit the cover.The bulbs are housed in bayonet holders.– Turn the bulb holder anticlockwise andremove.– Pull the bulb straight out.– Fit the new bulb by carefully pressing itinto the recess.– Fit the bulb holder back in place and turnclockwise.The bulbs are housed in bayonet holders.– Turn the bulb holder anticlockwise andremove.– Press in the bulb, turn anticlockwise andremove.– Fit the new bulb by pressing it into therecess and then turning clockwise.198
