Town of Sharon Zoning Lawroutinely used or required to be used by law or regulation as a warning signalfor potential hazards or dangers which are a routine occurrence on the site dueto the nature of the usage, such as but not limited to, back-up horns or beeperson construction equipment.b. Sound produced by emergency work necessary to restore public utilities, or torestore property to a safe condition, or to protect persons or property fromimminent danger, following fire, accident or natural disaster.c. Sound created by bells or chimes of a church, synagogue or other house ofworship, when a part of a religious observance or service and which do notexceed five (5) continuous or cumulative minutes duration in any one-hourperiod and which occurs between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.d. Sound from agricultural equipment.e. Sound produced by operating any mechanically powered saw, drill, sander,router, grinder, lawn or garden tool, lawnmower, or any other similar devicebetween the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. when used for the maintenanceor upkeep of the property on which it was used.f. Sound from snow blowers, snow throwers, and snow plows when operatedwith a muffler for the purpose of snow removalg. Sound from an emergency alarm signal of any structure provided suchemergency alarm signal shall terminate its operation within fifteen (15)minutes after it has been activated.h. Sound produced by the erection, excavation, construction, demolition,alteration, or repair work of any building or other structure, or the operation ofany tools or equipment used in any such activity conducted between the hoursof 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.4. Vibrationa. No vibration associated with any use shall be permitted which is capable ofbeing felt by any person lawfully at any adjoining lot line.b. The exceptions noted in this section shall also be applicable to vibrations.5. Seismic Testing:35
