The courts are directed to take notice of thillegislative intent and apply it in the event the Ton has failed to speciy any provisionof law that may require supersession. The Town Board hereby declares that it wouldhave enacted this Local Law and superseded such inconsistent provision had it beenapparent.E. Repealer and Replacement of Existing Law – Upon taking effect, this Local Lawshall repeal and replace in its entirety, the Town of Sharon Land Use Code, firstadopted on October 10, 1975 and amended periodically since.F. Effective Date - This local law shall take effect immediately upon filing with theOffice of the Secretary of State of the State of New York, in accordance with theapplicable provisions of law, and specifically Article 3, Section 27 of the New YorkState Municipal Home Rule Law.87
