DownloadingOnce the operating parameters have been set up, theymust be downloaded to the respective Control Panel,as follows.1. Remove the screws 4 and open the Control panel.2. Connect the jumper 65 to the first and second terminalpins on the 3-pin terminal strip marked PRGon the Main Board. All the Control panel LEDs willgo OFF except for the Disab./Fault Telecom LEDwhich will blink — to indicate that the system is readyfor programming via computer.3. Connect the Control Panel serial port (67) to one ofthe PC serial ports, as follows:– using a CVSER/9F9F link (accessory item), or acable similar to the one in Figure 27a;, connect theControl Panel to the PC;– if the PC serial port has 25 pins, use anADSER/9M25F adapter (accessory item), or a cablesimilar to the one in Figure 27b.4. Select the PC serial port used for connection withthe Control panel, as follows:– select Serial Ports from the Setup menu;– select the serial port (Control Panel section);–clickorOK.6. To download a specific page: click the DWLoadbutton on the page in question.To Download several pages:– select the required page from the Pages menu,right click, Select (a on the page Icon indicatesthat it will be downloaded);– repeat the procedure for all the required Pages;– right click again then select DWLoad.To download a group of pages, select the root.For example: to download all the Configuration relatedpages, select Configuration from the Pages menu; todownload All the Pages, select J400 from the Pagesmenu.7. To view the Control panel parameters — work carefullythrough point 6 then select UPLoad instead ofDWLoad.8. To exit the Programming session — connect thejumper 65 to the second and third terminals onthe 3-pin terminal strip marked PRG on the MainBoard. The Control panel will Reset automatically.5.
