Recreation, Non-Commercial. Recreation facilities operated by a non-profit organizationand open only to bonafide members of such organization.Recreation, Public. Recreation facilities operated as a non-profit enterprise by the<strong>Township</strong>, and any other governmental entity, or any non-profit organization that is open tothe general public.Recreational Vehicle. A vehicular-type unit primarily designed for temporary living quartersfor recreational, camping, or travel use, which either has its own motive power or is mountedon or drawn by another vehicle. The basic entities are: travel trailer, camping trailer, truckcamper, and motor home. No Recreational Vehicle shall be used as a permanent dwelling orbusiness.Recreational Vehicle Park. A plot of land upon which two or more recreational vehicle sitesare located, established, or maintained for occupancy by recreational vehicles of the generalpublic as temporary living quarters for recreation or vacation purposes.Road. Any street, highway, or other public roadway that is dedicated to public use bygovernmental authority.Screening. A method of visually shielding or obscuring abutting or nearby structures or usesfrom another by fencing, walls, or densely planted vegetation.Setback. See "Building Setback".Sign. Any device, fixture, placard or structure that uses any color, form, graphic,illumination, symbol or writing to advertise, announce the purpose of, or identify the purposeof a person or entity, or to communicate information of any kind to the public.- Animated Sign. Any sign that uses movement or change of lighting to depict action orcreate a special effect or scene.- Apartment Sign. Any sign which identifies and is located on the premises ofmultiple-family dwellings of at least 3 units under single ownership (whether in single ormultiple buildings) and which may also advertise the rental of units on the premises butcontain no other commercial message.- Banner. Any sign of lightweight fabric or similar material that is permanently mounted toa pole or a building by a permanent frame at one or more edges. National flags, state ormunicipal flags or the official flag of any institution or business shall not be consideredbanners.- Beacon. Any light with one or more beams directed into the atmosphere or directed at oneor more points not on the same zone lot as the light source; also, any light with one or morebeams that rotate or move.93
