14. A Telecommunications Tower may be located on a lot occupied by other principalstructures and may occupy a leased parcel within a lot meeting the minimum lot sizerequirements for the zoning district.15. The applicant shall submit certification from a Pennsylvania registered professionalengineer that a proposed Telecommunications Tower will be designed andconstructed in accordance with the current Structural Standards for Steel AntennaTowers and Antenna Supporting Structures, published by the Electrical IndustrialAssociation/ Telecommunications Industry Association and applicable requirementsof the <strong>Township</strong> Building Code.16. The applicant shall submit a copy of its current Federal Communications Commission(FCC) license; the name, address, and emergency telephone number for the operatorof the Telecommunications Tower; and a Certificate of Insurance evidencing generalliability coverage in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and propertydamage coverage in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence covering theTelecommunications Tower and Communications Antennas.17. All guy wires associated with guyed Telecommunications Towers shall be clearlymarked so as to be visible at all times. All guy wires shall be located within a fencedenclosure, and located within the same lot as the Telecommunications Tower.18. No signs or lights shall be mounted on a Telecommunications Tower, except as maybe required by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Federal AviationAdministration (FAA) or any other governmental agency that has jurisdiction.19. Telecommunications Towers shall be protected and maintained in accordance withthe requirements of the <strong>Township</strong> Building Code.20. If a Telecommunications Tower remains unused for a period of twelve (12)consecutive months, the owner or operator shall dismantle and remove theTelecommunications Tower within six (6) months of the expiration of such twelve(12) month period.21. The applicant and owner of record of any Wireless Telecommunications Facilitiesmust file, at its cost and expense, a security performance bond with the <strong>Township</strong> forat least $75,000 to insure the removal of abandoned or unused Facilities.26
