301.1: Where a <strong>Zoning</strong> District Boundary Approximately Follows a Streetor AlleyThe centerline of such street or alley shall be interpreted to be the <strong>Zoning</strong> Districtboundary.301.2: Where a <strong>Zoning</strong> District Boundary Approximately Parallels a StreetLot Line or Alley Lot LineThe boundary shall be interpreted as being parallel to it and at such distance from it asindicated on the <strong>Zoning</strong> Map. If no distance is given, such dimension shall be determinedby the use of the scale shown on the <strong>Zoning</strong> Map.301.3: Where a <strong>Zoning</strong> District Boundary Approximately Follows a LotLineThe lot line shall be interpreted to be the <strong>Zoning</strong> District boundary.301.4: Where A <strong>Zoning</strong> District Boundary Follows a WatercourseThe centerline of the watercourse shall be interpreted to be the <strong>Zoning</strong> District boundary.301.5: Submerged AreasWhere areas within the <strong>Township</strong> are underwater and are bounded by two or more zoningdistricts, the boundary lines of these districts shall be extended to the center of the body ofwater.301.6: Classification of Annexed LandsAny land annexed to or made a part of the <strong>Township</strong> subsequent to the adoption of thisordinance, shall immediately be classified in the same <strong>Zoning</strong> District as the area to whichit is contiguous, as of the effective date of annexation.301.7: Vacation of Public WaysWhenever any street or alley is vacated, the <strong>Zoning</strong> District or Districts adjoining the sideof such street or alley shall be automatically extended to the center of the vacated area.301.8: Where a <strong>Zoning</strong> District Boundary Does Not Follow a PhysicalFeature or Lot Line and None of the Previous Rules ApplyThe location of such boundary, unless the same is indicated by dimensions shown on the<strong>Zoning</strong> Map, shall be determined by the use of the map scale appearing thereon.5
