7-25 CHASSIS▣ SUSPENSION ARM PIVOT BEARINGInspect the dust seal lips and spacers for wear anddamage. If any damages are found, replace themwith new ones.Inspect the bearings for play. If excessive play isfound, replace them with a new one.▣ BRAKE DISK COVERInspect the brake disk cover for damage. If any damagesare found, replace the brake disk cover with anew one.◉ FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER DISPOSALWARNING The front shock absorber unit contains highpressurenitrogen gas. Mishandling can cause explosion. Keep away from fire and heat. High gas pressurecaused by heat can cause an explosion. Release gas pressure before disposing.▣ GAS PRESSURE RELEASE● Remove the valve cap.● Press the valve with a screwdriver to bleed out thenitrogen gas.WARNING Releasing high pressure gas from the frontshock absorber unit can be hazardous. Neverperform any servicing until the nitrogen gaspressure has been released from the frontshock absorber unit. When releasing the gas pressure, place a ragover the gas valve and use the tip of a screwdriverto press the valve. Do not use your fingerto depress the gas valve, and be sure todirect the valve away from your face and body. Be sure to always wear eye protection whenperforming this procedure.
