ENGINE 3-22● Remove the valve spring retainer 1 , inner valvespring 2 and outer valve spring 3 .● Remove the valve 4 from the other side.● Remove the oil seal 5 with long-nose pliers.● Remove the valve spring seat 6 .123564▣ REASSEMBLY● Install each valve spring seat 6 .● Apply MOLY PASTE to each oil seal and press-fitthem into position.MOLY PASTEDo not reuse the oil seals.CAUTION6● Apply MOLY PASTE to the valve as shown, andthen insert them into the valve guides.MOLY PASTECAUTIONWhen inserting each valve into the valve guides,make sure not to damage the lip of the oil seal.● Install the valve spring with the smaller pitch facing the cylinder head.Head direction
