CHASSIS 7-34● Remove the steering shaft holder bolts.● Remove the cable/hose guide and the steeringshaft holder.● Remove the steering shaft 1 .1● Remove the bushing 2 and the dust seal 3 fromthe steering shaft.● Remove the steering shaft holder half.23◉ INSPECTIONInspect the removed parts for the following abnormalities.Handlebar distortionHandlebar clamp wear3▣ DUST SEALS AND O-RINGInspect the dust seal 3 and O-ring 4 for wear ordamage.If any damages are found, replace the dust seal orO-ring with new ones.4▣ TIE RODInspect the tie rod for distortion or damage.If any damages are found, replace the tie rod with anew one.
