5.3 Encouraging Greater Operational Use of <strong>SAR</strong> Data
Question 8 asked: “What suggestions do you have <strong>to</strong> encourage greater operational use of
<strong>SAR</strong> data? (Rate each from 1 <strong>to</strong> 5 with 1 being least important and 5 being most
important.” The weighted scores were calculated and sorted as described above. The
result is shown in Table 9.
Other fac<strong>to</strong>rs that respondents added include the following:
• “UAV-<strong>SAR</strong> should be available in commercial market <strong>to</strong> widen the access <strong>to</strong>
airborne <strong>SAR</strong> data.”
• “Suitable data and software may be made available.”
• “Ready <strong>to</strong> use and feed forward data in standard formats.”
