� In preparation for the upcoming International GEO Workshop on Synthetic
Aperture Radar (<strong>SAR</strong>) <strong>to</strong> <strong>Support</strong> <strong>Agricultural</strong> Moni<strong>to</strong>ring, you are invited <strong>to</strong>
complete this survey on your views of the use of <strong>SAR</strong> for agricultural applications.

� The goal of this Workshop is <strong>to</strong> state clearly and strongly the Earth Observation
requirements of the international agriculture community and the strategies needed
<strong>to</strong> promote the use of <strong>SAR</strong> for agricultural moni<strong>to</strong>ring, in the areas of science,
research, operations and capacity.
� The findings from this survey will be presented at the Workshop and will form the
starting point for discussions during Workshop breakout sessions.
� Whether or not you attend the Workshop, this survey provides an important
opportunity for you <strong>to</strong> express your views on the priority strategies <strong>to</strong> facilitate
greater use of <strong>SAR</strong> by the agriculture community. A report from the Workshop will
include a summary of these survey results. This report will be made widely
available at www.cgeo.gc.ca.
� The survey response will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on how indepth
your responses are.

attachment. If you have any questions about the survey, please direct them <strong>to</strong>
