• The Early Childhood Outcomes Primary Assessment system tablehas been updated to include codes 10-12. Indiana (Student) –o Other Exports –• DOE-CC - The DOE-CC process has been updated to displayCourse Grade values greater than 9.9 rather than displaying ???in the report and export file. If a student does not have a CourseGrade between 0.0 and 4.0, the student will receive an errormessage to alert the user that the Course Grade is invalid andwhat the valid Course Grades are.• DOE-LM - The DOE-LM process for PK students has been updatedto pull the ELP value as 0 and the Instrument Used value as 7.The list of ELP records has been updated to no longer includecode 8 and provide a different description for code 7. The list ofInstrument Used codes has new descriptions for codes 4, 8, and9. The LEP maintenance screen Help buttons have been updatedto use the framework.• DOE-SE - Validation for SE Placement Type has been added,using the system table list to verify valid codes. The errormessage has been updated to indicate only that the SE PlacementType is not valid. A new SE Placement Type of 38 - ParentallyPlaced Private Preschool has been added.• Student Test Number Lookup - The IN Language Code systemtable has been updated.o Special Education - A new Special Ed Placement Type of 38, ParentallyPlaced Private Preschool, has been added for the DOE-SE. Kansas (Student) –o KIDS\STCO - STCO sequencing has been updated to handle issues wheresemesters are reporting for multiple terms.o Other Exports\LPR Data - LPR sequencing has been updated to disregardthe Semester/Term number into which the class falls. Michigan (Business) –o REP - The REP data extraction has been modified so that the FundedPosition Status will be left blank if the Assignment Code indicates thatthe assignment is non-instructional. Minnesota (Student) –o ECFE –• The ECFE extract process has been updated so that if a student isnot completely compliant, the student will now be sent with value0 rather than 1. If a student is completely compliant, the studentwill still be sent as a 1. If the school year being run is 2013, allstudents will pull a 1 for the Immunization field. An informationbutton has been added to the ECFE Extract template to indicatehow the Immunization field is pulled.• The Extract process for ECFE has been updated so that errors willprint only for students who should have an ECFE record created.o MARSS - The Extract template has been updated to include a new optionto Populate Service Hours with 1 to auto-fill the SE Service Hours field.The Extract process has been updated to check for this new option. Ifchecked, the process determines whether the student meets the 3criteria and then fills the field with 1.
New Jersey (Student) –o NJSMART –• In a previous project, two new fields were added to the SpecialEducation State Reporting Tab: Parental Consent Obtained andParental Consent to Implement Initial IEP Date. The NJSMARTSpecial Education Submission has been updated to pull thesefields, if filled in, and overwrite the corresponding field valuesentered on the Evaluation record.• The NJSMART State Oct/June Submissions have been updated toreport Title I Science, Math, and Language Arts field values basedon whether they were active at any time during the year and notjust as of the Snapshot date. New Mexico (Student) –o STARS - The STARS Student and Student Snapshot templates have beenupdated to extract Single Parent, Displaced Homemaker, and SpecialProgram values from the new Career/Tech Ed Tab. Pennsylvania (Business) –o PIMS - A verification check has been added for terminated employeesduring the extract. If the employee is terminated, an Assignment recordwill not be created, and the annual salary will be set to zero. Pennsylvania (Student) –o PEARS Export - The PEARS Export was updated to process correctlywithout the "Count Purchases in Default Entity" option being checked.Previously, no data was reported if this was not used.o PIMS – The PIMS extract has been updated to no longer pull the SSNfield on Student/Student Snapshot templates for 2014 and later schoolyears. Maintain Extracted PIMS data was also updated to no longerdisplay the SSN field for 2014 and later school years.o Special Education\Evaluation Information - Users are now allowed to setthe Gifted & Talented flag on evaluations. The Gifted & Talented flag forthe evaluation will be available to be set only if the evaluation specifiesno disabilities, the student is not flagged as Special Ed, and theEvaluation Type is "evaluation."This is to be used to indicate the student was evaluated for Gifted only,and found not eligible. This update was needed to allow data to bereported accurately for PennData Table 8A. Students who are evaluatedfor Gifted Only should not be included on this report. PennData Table 8Aprocessing will be updated in a future addendum/release.o Student Profile Tabs\Special Programs - The following updates weremade for Title I data tracking:1. Added Instr/Suprt Services field to Programs Fact Title 1 record.2. Updated Mass Add Special/Local Programs utility to include thenew Title 1 field.3. Added Title 1 field to School code.4. Updated PIMS Extract to not pull duplicate Programs Fact Title 1records. Rhode Island (Student) –o Current Scheduling - The following updates have been made:1. Added a state code crosswalk to the Grade Mark.2. Added a Staff State ID field.3. Updated the Staff Role ID field to pull from a code table.4. Added a Section Type crosswalk to the Control Set.
