The area contained within thedowntown master plan district is shown on the attachedmap. The character area encompasses about 860 acres andwas studied extensively during the plan developmentprocess. After significant amounts <strong>of</strong> public input wereobtained, an implementation program was developed t<strong>of</strong>ocus on a number <strong>of</strong> issues, including a new zoning overlaydistrict for the plan area and ten projects / project types forfuture development / construction:1. Return to two way streets2. Link Rhodes Jordan Park with GJAC3. Parks4. Community Facilities5. Scenic Parkway (Improvements)6. Transportation Study7. Local Streets (Improvements)8. Luckie Street9. Parking Projects10.
