Continue to support with School Board officials onefforts to improve education and quality of thefacilities in Lawrenceville so that Lawrenceville isa destination for families who want a goodeducation for their children, and not a reason torelocate. Recognize that private educational opportunitiesare possible for the residents of Lawrencevilleand that private/parochial schools may belooking at the City as a site for future facilities.4.1.5 Intergovernmental CoordinationSupport and promote the Atlanta RegionalCommission’s Regional Development PlanCoordination Policies. Assist local governments to adopt growthmanagement strategies that make more efficientuse of existing infrastructure. Inform and involve the public in planning atregional, local and neighborhood levels. Coordinate local policies and regulations tosupport Regional Policies. Encourage the development of state and regionalgrowth management policies. Continue increased communication andcooperation between all municipalities inGwinnett County. Coordinate transportation improvements aroundthe Gwinnett Justice and Administrative Centerwith Gwinnett County’s facility expansion plans. Consider economic and land use impacts tosurrounding jurisdictions during planning efforts.
