(4) the claim of the creditor for repairs on or maintenance of the goods if thecreditor has the right of retention over the goods on the basis of such aclaim.(4) If the consumer pays at one time the amount that is to be credited to the creditorunder paragraph (3), he may retain the goods.Section 18 has been repealed.Section 19(1) A consumer who has the right to use running credit shall be liable for theunauthorised use of a credit card or other means of identification providing theright to use a running account only if:(1) he has given the means of identification to another;(2) the passing of the means of identification into the possession of anunauthorised person is due to the negligence of the account holder and thisnegligence is not slight; or(3) after having lost possession of the means of identification in a manner otherthan that referred to in subparagraph (2) and after having become aware ofthe same, the account holder has neglected to notify the creditor withoutdelay.(2) However, the account holder shall not be liable for the unauthorised use of themeans of identification in the cases referred to in paragraph (1) if:(1) the means of identification is used after the creditor is notified that themeans of identification has been lost or is in the possession of anunauthorised person; or(2) the seller or the party performing the service or a person who has acceptedthe means of identification as the representative of them has not beensufficiently careful in ensuring that the person in possession of the meansof identification has the right to use such means.Section 20A condition restricting the rights of a consumer under sections 10—19 shall bevoid.46
