Chapter 11 - Assembly Design‣ To check for interferences:1. Select the Check for Interferences tool from the Inspection toolbar; or from the Toolsmenu select Check for Interferences. The Interferences dialog box appears.2. Select Global or User Specified Groups. The Global option checks for interferencesconsidering all parts of the assembly. The User Specified Groups option checks only theparts you select.3. If you selected User Specified Groups, you must select at least one part in Group 1. You canthen choose to check for interferences between the selected Group 1 part(s) against:• Group 1: checks for interferences within the selected Group 1 parts (requires atleast two selections)• Group 2: checks for interferences between Group 1 parts and parts selected inGroup 2• All Other Items: checks for interferences between Group 1 parts and all other partsin the assembly4. Click the Check button. The number of interferences detected is listed in the Interferencefound box. Each interference will also be listed individually specifying which parts areinterfering as well as the interfering volume.5. To further analyze interferences, select interference Display Options:• Show All Interfering Volumes: displays the detected interferences in red297
