Program Standard: The program shows evidence of participation incollaborative efforts within the community and has membership on thecommunity’s early childhood collaborative council.A Quality Program:1. Participates in the development of a common community philosophy ofearly childhood expectations.2. Shares information on available community services and eligibilityrequirements for services with administrators, the teaching staff, and allearly childhood providers.3. Plans with other community programs/agencies for coordination of acomprehensive, seamless system of services for all children and families.4. Explores and, to the extent possible, employs joint funding of theprogram.5. Encourages joint and/or cooperative professional developmentopportunities.6. Promotes outreach efforts in the community to develop and extend earlychildhood knowledge as part of ongoing public relations.7.
