Residues
<strong>Committee</strong>
The WPPR was replaced at the end of 2000 by the new Pesticides Residues
<strong>Committee</strong>. This new committee advises the Chief Executive of PSD and the
Food Standards Agency (FSA) on the formulation of the residues surveillance
programmes and the results arising from them. It is independent from the
ACP and is responsible for preparing its own annual report which is presented
to Ministers.

Panel
Terms of
reference
To advise the IDS and ACP on medical problems put to it and to draw the
attention of the IDS and ACP to any matter concerning the impact of
pesticides on human health, including exposure of operators which, in the
opinion of the Panel, needs further investigation.

methods.
