Helps Latino HIV clients and their families<br />
access services and receive support and<br />
education in a confidential manner. Has an<br />
office in San Diego and in Tijuana in order to<br />
help accomplish its mission of reducing the<br />
impact of HIV/AIDS in the border region.<br />
Objectives: design and implement prevention<br />
and education campaigns, to provide<br />
assistance including professional and peer<br />
advocacy to persons already infected by<br />
HIV/ AIDS, and to provide a confidential and<br />
secure location where clients can obtain<br />
services, referrals and meet for support<br />
groups in both San Diego and Tijuana, assists<br />
clients in accessing medical and welfare<br />
services, immigration forms and referrals to<br />
specialized attorneys and notary services.
