To provide support and assistance to<br />
organizations that work with low-income<br />
children. The foundation has offices in<br />
Mexico City, Tijuana and Ensenada. The<br />
organization solicits both financial and inkind<br />
contributions and distributes them to<br />
hundreds of children’s programs throughout<br />
Mexico. The foundation works with<br />
businesses, the government and charitable<br />
organizations to improve the livelihood of<br />
children in 23 states, offering support to<br />
children’s organizations with programs in<br />
education, health, sports, recreation, the<br />
arts, and culture.<br />
The mission of Los Niños de Baja California<br />
is to promote self-sufficiency and community<br />
participation through educational and<br />
developmental projects on both sides of the<br />
border. Los Niños supports nutritional<br />
projects and family orchards in several<br />
communities and schools in the cities of<br />
Tijuana and Mexicali. Los Niños’ programs<br />
reach the communities through community<br />
promotoras. Currently, Los Niños is<br />
working on the following programs: Family<br />
health and nutritional safety, Family<br />
Economic Development through microloans,<br />
and <strong>Community</strong> Development<br />
Education.
