IT has an ever-increasing role to play in everyday life, at<br />
home, at work and in our leisure time. This qualification is<br />
an ideal foundation for students entering the workplace,<br />
providing you with a theoretical background reinforced<br />
with practical skills that transfer into the modern<br />
workplace.<br />
Modules studied include website development,<br />
spreadsheet and database, computer graphics as well<br />
as project planning using IT. Learners who complete this<br />
course go on to a Level 3 course such as a BTEC Level 3<br />
or AQA Tech Level 3 course.<br />

BTEC Diplomas in IT†<br />
16+ | L3 | FT | 1-2YRS<br />
This course is for you if you are planning a career in IT<br />
or Computing as it will develop your knowledge, skills<br />
and understanding of many different aspects of IT and<br />
computing including networking, application development<br />
and web design. You will need to pass the year 1, 90<br />
credit Diploma to progress to year 2 for the full Extended<br />
Diploma qualification.<br />
