Meet Elton Madekurizva
Course: Level 2 Preparation to work in
Social Care
I chose Social Care so I can move onto the Access to
Nursing course and then go on to University. I have
my mind set on Kings College.

Achieving Level 1 meant I gained more confidence
and enabled me to get a job as a Health Care
Assistant. I’m also an ambassador which means I help
to teach Maths and English classes, and IT classes to
staff and students at the college. Being nominated to
be an ambassador and being trusted with additional
responsibility has been one of best moments since
starting here so far.
The diversity and constant challenges have meant
that I’ve gained skills helpful for any workplace, such
as how to communicate with people on all levels,
from my peers to other students and teachers.
It’s the best. Get the certificate, get qualified and get
the encouragement to go further.
