Links with Businesses
Maths and English
Courses are developed to give you
the best chance of getting the career
you want. You will be encouraged
to take part in extracurricular
activities and projects where you
put your skills into practice. Whether
it’s a start-up project, national
competition or community work,
these activities will help you start to
build an outstanding CV or personal
statement.
We use our links with businesses
around the country to hold
workshops and events with industry
leaders which helps to open doors
for work placements at major
companies such as British Airways,
The Hilton Group, the Army and the
NHS to name but a few.
Work experience is invaluable and
we like to equip our students with
the experience that will give you
the edge when applying for jobs in a
competitive workplace.
The College work to support the
development of Maths and English.
Achieving Maths and English
at GCSE grade A*-C is essential
for progression within Further
Education and to Higher Education
and employment. If you have yet to
achieve a minimum grade C we will
support you in the restudy of these
subjects in order to achieve this
standard. We want you to leave our
College with a good grasp of Maths
and English, to ensure you are well
equipped to work effectively in the
industry of your choice.
