Hair & Beauty<br />

Working in our commercial hairdressing and treatment salons,<br />

you will gain first class hands on experience to prepare you for<br />

the workplace. There is also the opportunity for work experience<br />

placements thanks to our strong links with businesses throughout<br />

the sector.<br />

Students in the hair and beauty department are ambassadors for<br />

the College, taking part in regional and national hair and beauty<br />

competitions, and by offering a wide range of treatments to the<br />

public at discounted prices under the guidance of expert staff.<br />

Our industry connections means that students benefit<br />

from regular visits from major product houses and industry<br />

professionals who offer presentations, demonstrations and<br />

workshops. This creates an enriched learning experience and<br />

ensures that students enter the workplace informed with up to<br />

date knowledge. Many of our students also secure jobs on or<br />

before successful completion.<br />
