Basic design bearings
SKF basic design needle roller and cage
assemblies are identified by the series designation
K and available in single row (no designation
suffix) and double row (designation
suffix ZW) designs († fig. 1). They are characterized
by the following properties:

• simple and rugged design
• accurate roller guidance in the cage pockets
• good running performance
Other needle roller and cage assemblies
On request, SKF also supplies needle roller
and cage assemblies in other sizes or different
designs.
Needle roller and cage assemblies with a
split cage can be used where raceways are
recessed in the shaft († fig. 2).
