Family Bank continues to leverage its Bancassurance business to meet is customer’s diversified needs. The Company was rebranded<br />
to Family Bank Insurance Agency Limited (FBIA) from Dhamana Insurance Agency Limited which was licensed in May 2010 by the<br />
Insurance Regulatory Agency. This rebranding consolidated the Brand Name “Family “as a one stop shop for financial Services.<br />
With the insurance penetration in Kenya at less than 4%, there is unique opportunity to drive the business of the Company through<br />
various activities.<br />
Launch of Family Bank Insurance Agency Limited<br />
The Year 2015 was a milestone in the rebranding and repositioning of the Subsidiary to greater heights. Our Business was renamed<br />
Family Bank Insurance Agency Limited (FBIAL) with a new logo and corporate colours at a colourful event held on 15 th December<br />
2016 at Nairobi Serena attended by various industry executives. This continues to enhance our corporate image to scale new<br />
heights and source for more business in new frontiers. The rebranded unit forms part of the bank’s strategy of serving its customers<br />
better through becoming a one-stop shop for financial services.<br />

Strong Relationship Team<br />
Family Bank Insurance Agency has a very proactive sales team spread out in 92 Branches and growing. Throughout 2015, our<br />
Relationship team grew the business significantly to attain leadership in areas of general and life Insurance segments. This was<br />
supported by a team of 48 well trained General insurance officers and over 100 life Agents. The performance of these teams<br />
continue to be monitored through a weekly dashboard on the business growth prospects for the month.<br />
