old
are you ?
Η δημιουργικότητα, η πρωτοτυπία και η τόλμη είναι τα
συστατικά της επιτυχίας του νέου θεματικού καταστήματος
ενδυμάτων, αξεσουάρ και ειδών σπιτιού που έχει ξεκινήσει
την λειτουργία του εδώ και έξι μήνες στην πόλη μας με
την επωνυμία “How old are you”, με την υπογραφή της
νεαρής επιχειρηματίας, Μάντυς Παπαδάκη.
Επισκεφτήκαμε το καινοτόμο κατάστημά της, το μοναδικό
στην Κρήτη με αυτό το στυλ, στα εγκαίνια που πραγματοποιήθηκαν
στα μέσα Μαΐου.
Αμέσως νιώσαμε την αγάπη, τη ζεστασιά και την προσωπική
πινελιά με την οποία το έχει διακοσμήσει και
παράλληλα, ταξιδέψαμε στην εποχή των Αμερικάνικων
50’s, από όπου και είναι εμπνευσμένα τα ρούχα και τα
αξεσουάρ. Χειροποίητα είδη, δουλεμένα με το μεράκι της
ιδιοκτήτριας, Ελληνικές και Αγγλικές επώνυμες εταιρίες, σε
αποκλειστικότητα, σε γραμμές ρετρό και vintage, rockabilly
style και ύφος επηρεασμένο από την Audrey Hepburn στο
«Breakfast at Tiffany’s», αδιαμφισβήτητα, δίνουν ταυτότητα
στο κατάστημα. Ένα κατάστημα που καταφέρνει να
συναντηθούν τρεις γενιές και να χαρούν τα ψώνια, η
μητέρα, η γιαγιά και η εγγονή!
Ένα τέτοιο ιδιαίτερο και μοναδικό κατάστημα δεν θα
μπορούσε να μην οργανώσει αντίστοιχα εντυπωσιακά
και πρωτοποριακά εγκαίνια στην πόλη μας. Η ξεχωριστή
διοργάνωση που επιμελήθηκε με το ταπεραμέντο της η
αγαπημένη Μάντυ, προσέφερε ψυχαγωγία προσαρμοσμένη
στο ύφος και στο στυλ του καταστήματος. Dj Sets με swing
και rock’ n roll διάθεση, χορευτικά με θέμα την δημοφιλή
ταινία Grease και τον αξέχαστο Elvis Presley, ζογκλέρ,
fire shows, ξυλοπόδαροι, το Heraklion Vespa Club και τα
χρωματιστά ρετρό κοκτέιλ, εμπνευσμένα από την εποχή
της δεκαετίας του ’50 κράτησαν τους προσκεκλημένους ως
αργά το βράδυ.
Η Μάντυ με πολλή χαρά μας ανέφερε «πολλά κορίτσια
έχουν υιοθετήσει ήδη αυτό το στυλ και τονίζουν διακριτικά
την θηλυκότητα τους, αυτό με κάνει να εντείνω
την προσπάθεια μου ώστε να ικανοποιήσω και τα πιο
απαιτητικά γούστα».
Εμείς να της ευχηθούμε κάθε επιτυχία
στο νέο της ξεκίνημα.
Creativity, originality and boldness are the ingredients of
the success of the new theme clothing, accessories, and
home ware store, which it is in operation for six months
in our city, named “How old are you”, by the young
businessman, Maddy Papadaki.
We visited that innovative store, unique in Crete with its
style, in the opening that took place in mid-May.
Immediately we felt the love, warmth and the personal
touch which it is decorated, while at the same time we
travelled in the era of American 50’s, from where its
clothes and accessories are inspired. Handmade items,
crafted by the passion of the owner, Greek and English
exclusively named companies, in retro and vintage style,
rockabilly style and style influenced by Audrey Hepburn in
«Breakfast at Tiffany’s», undoubtedly give identity to the
store. A store that manages to meet three generations
where mother, grandmother and granddaughter enjoy
the pleasure of shopping!
Such a special and unique store could not arrange a
not impressive and innovative opening in our city. The
special event curated by the temperament of the beloved
Maddy, offered entertainment customized to the aura
and style of the store. Dj sets with swing and rock ‘n roll
mood, dancing based on the popular movie Grease and
the unforgettable Elvis Presley, jugglers, fire shows, stilt
walkers, with the company of the Heraklion Vespa Club
and colored retro cocktails inspired by the era of the 50’s
kept the guests until late in the evening.
Maddy being very glad mentioned that "many girls have
already adopted this style and subtly emphasize their
femininity; so, this makes me redouble my effort to
satisfy the most demanding tastes."
