This last week has been a right pain for drivers in Bridge
of Weir with no less than three sets of road works going
on (Kilmacolm Rd, Main Street, and Horsewood Road),
hopefully we will all forget the trauma of it when the roads
are pot hole free. Thanks to everyone for filling in my Pothole
Langbank residents are coming up with some wonderful suggestions re the
West Ferry car park project and gaining back access to the foreshore with
footbridges, as well as creating a community garden. The hope is to accomplish
the “www” from this project (www = waterways, woodlands & wellbeing). The
hope is to involve the whole community in giving new life and access to our at
risk heritage sites.
Bishopton residents living near the railway station are becoming frustrated
by the inconsiderate parking which takes place by commuters. A number of
people have approached me about the problem. I am seeking a solution but in
the meantime can I request that the residential streets be kept free of all day
parking.
