Just like in the property price chart you saw earlier, in the last 10 years,
the stock market’s gone up and it has come down. And as you can see on
this chart, when you draw a trend line between the price it was at in 1998
and the price it was at the end of 2007, you can see that it has literally
drifted sideways, making hardly any price progress.
With the stock market, history tends to repeat itself. This is very
good news for you, especially when you are armed with some key
historical data. You have seen an example of the property market
making no price progress for a ten year period and then exploding
northwards.
But what about the stock market? Has the stock market done this
before?
