When people ask me does it work, I tell them that this unique way of
investing using ISAs and SIPPs has so far helped Stephen and me to
build up six fi gure, tax-free accounts. But sometimes the best way to
answer that question is through the mouths of our clients.
Our clients are mostly high net worth individuals and come from various
backgrounds. You will discover more about them later in the book. I
personally think the best people to ask are the people who not only use
the system but ones who have been with us the longest. In other words,
clients who have seen how the system works through a full stock market
cycle (a bull (up) market and a bear (down) market). In case you are
wondering, a full cycle tends to last for about 5 years. 13
Stephen recently spoke to three of these long serving clients and they
had this to say.

Client, Jon Marshall was ecstatic about “being in cash” when the recent
bear market struck and the Nasdaq plunged a horrible 24.7%. 14 His exact
words were, “It’s a good job the system told us to get out onto the sidelines. If
we wouldn’t have got out of the market, I would have lost a lot of money.”

And even more recently, just after we got back into the market, 15 Glenn
sent Stephen a personal email.
