When the market was in a downtrend, the smart money was out on the
sidelines.
Because investment funds own stocks, funds also move in the same trend
or direction as the market.
You see, the market is like a river.
If it is fl owing downwards, then you don’t want to be in the river trying
to swim upstream against a strong current.
And if the market is fl owing downwards, you want to be on the sidelines
patiently waiting for the fl ow of the river to change.
