• Other (SNAP 040617; Danisco ingredients/Slaughterhouse waste).<br />

Table 4.6 present the emission of NH3 and NMVOC from production of<br />

chemical ingredients and treatment of slaughterhouse waste.<br />

The emission of NMVOC from production of chemical ingredients<br />

shows a decreasing trend and can probably be explained by the decreasing<br />

emission pr amount produced.<br />

0HWKRGRORJLFDO LVVXHV<br />

The emission of NMVOC from production of chemical ingredients has<br />

been measured from 1996 <strong>to</strong> 2009 (Danisco Grindsted, 2010). The emission<br />

has decreased from 100 <strong>to</strong> 12 <strong>to</strong>nnes NMVOC in this period. However,<br />

no explanation can be given on these conditions, as information on<br />

activity is not available.<br />

The emission of NH3 from treatment of slaughterhouse waste has been<br />

calculated from an average emission fac<strong>to</strong>r based on measurements<br />

from <strong>Danish</strong> plants (daka, 2010). Activity data are obtained from production<br />

statistics (Statistics Denmark, 2010).<br />

8QFHUWDLQWLHV DQG WLPH VHULHV FRQVLVWHQF\<br />

The time-series is based on the same methodology throughout, using<br />

public statistics and standard emission fac<strong>to</strong>rs. Therefore, the timeseries<br />

is considered <strong>to</strong> be consistent.<br />
