A great combination of medications for the
3 most common health problems: Canker,
Coccidiosis and Worms. Use 3-4 weeks before breeding
season and then once again after the season. 1 teaspoon
per gallon for 5 days. Makes 28-30 gallons.

A broad spectrum, safe powder for the
treatment of Canker, Paratyphoid (Salmonella),
E-coli, and Coccidiosis. Contains higher
percentage of Ronidazole for Canker. Treat pigeons
for five - seven days. For the most effective use of
4-1, at the same time as treating in drinking water, also add Avio-
Gel #2531 and Entromune #2526 on the feed. One teaspoon of
the 4-1 Powder to a gallon of drinking water, made fresh every day.
Follow directions for Avio Gel and Entromune that are on the containers.
The 4-1 Tablets are used one tablet per day for 5-7 days.

5-1 (All In One)
All In One is a powder that gives us the best
value and covers the largest range of health
issues. I am not a strong believer in preventive medication,
but I do believe this product will help keep your flock
healthy. Coccidiosis is probably the most common pigeon
health problem and All In One contains Amprolium
and is listed as both a treatment and a preventative for Coccidiosis.
Canker (Trichomoniasis) another common pigeon health issue
is both preventable and treatable. All In One contains the safe drug,
Ronidazol, an effective drug. The third most common health problem
is worms, and All In One contains Levamisole which treats for
most worms with the exception of Tape worms. Tylan is the drug of
choice for respiratory and you’ll find it in All In One. The fifth ingredient
includes probiotics to rebuild gut bacteria and relieve stress. 2
tsps. per gal for 5 days.

Nidazole Powder by Aviomed
Secnidazole is currently by far the most effective
treatment and prevention of Trichomoniasis.
It has a long acting effect and has minimal
side effects. Ronidazole is faster acting, but is passed
thru more quickly. Avionidazole combines Secnidazole with Ronidazole
ensuring that the pigeon fancier has the best possible product
available to prevent Trichomoniasis (Canker). Add 4 teaspoons to a
gallon for 2 days about 8 weeks before racing or show season and
again in the middle of either season. If you have canker add 4 teaspoons
to a gallon for 3 consecutive days. Change daily.

Pox / Canker Dry by Foy's
Apply a small amount, using a new Q-Tip, to the lesions. Pox
dry will cause the lesion to dry up and when this is dried, the
scab will fall off. Contains Iron Sulfate and water. One bottle will
go a long way. Apply directly to Canker growths to dry it up.

Dimetryl + by Aviomed
Dimetryl is a unique product developed
specifically to treat resistant strains of
Trichomoniasis (Canker). Dimetridazole is
extremely effective when administered at higher
doses. At these high doses it is very toxic.
Dimetryl contains the unique Aviomed additive
knows as Antitox. Antitox is a blend of natural
substances that reduces the toxic effect of Dimetridazole,
supports the liver and stimulates
the immune system. With the additive of Antitox, the dosage can
safely be increased and the treatment time is reduced to three days.
Dosage is 1 teaspoon per 1 gallon of water for 3 days continuously. If
the weather is hot and the birds are drinking more water, reduce the
dosage to 1 teaspoon per 2 gallons. Use Dimetryl twice during the
race season or when you are flying your birds. Dose early in the week
and do not race or fly competitively within five days of using Dimetryl.
Contains 40% Dimetridazole and Aviomed - Antitox 2%. In normal
weather makes approximately 7 gallons.

Metronidazole/Aviotrich
This is an extremely safe product
with a wide safety margin to use
during breeding, moulting, and any active
period such as a flying competition, auction
or show. Also known as Flagyl, the
powder is used at the rate of 1 teaspoon
per gallon for 3 days and the large 200 gram container will make up to
50 gallons. The tablets, called Aviotrich, have the added effect of
stimulating the flying performance of birds such as Racing Homers,
Rollers, Tipplers, Flights, Doneks, High Flyers, etc. For stimulating,
give 1 tablet one day before shipping for a competition such as a race.
Both the powder and the tablers should be given on an empty
crop, preferably in the evening, to reduce the incidence of vomiting.
The powder treatment dose is 1 teaspoon per gallon for 5 days and
the tablets are dosed 1 tablet per day for 2 consecutive days. For
babies, 1 tablet on the day of weaning.

Trizole
Trizole treats both Canker and Coccidiosis
in pigeons. The combination of Secnidazole
and Ronidazole means a single dose will have rapid
but long lasting activity against Canker. Canker is
commonly spread via food and water by carrier birds
and passed by the parents to the young. Young birds
show classic symptoms such as growth in their throat
or naval. Older birds show weight loss and weakness
or poor flying performances. Coccidiosis is a common
disease of pigeons. It is a parasite passed from one bird to another
via dropping contamination of food or water. Coccidiosis is always
worse during warm, wet conditions. Trizole tablets after feeding, at
the rate of one tablet per pigeon, once only. Trizole will not cause
infertility or reduced performance. Can be used during breeding
season and when birds have young in the nest. 25mg Ronidazole,
25 mg Secnidazole and 5mg Diclazuril.
