Triple C Antibiotic Powder<br />
A broad spectrum antibiotic powder<br />
used in pigeons, parrots, finch and all<br />
orna- mental birds. Used for bacterial infections<br />
including E. Coli (Enteritis), Mycoplasma (Chronic<br />
Respiratory) and Chlamydia (Psittarosis). May be added<br />
to the drinking water or feed. Triple C Antibiotic is an ideal product to<br />
use when your not sure what to do. It is suggested you remove grit<br />
or other calcium when using Triple C. 2 teaspoons per gallon. It will<br />
treat about 40 gallons for finch and pigeons. 20 Gallons for parrots<br />
and most ornamental birds. Remove grit during use.<br />

Tylamox<br />
A broad spectrum anti-biotic combination of Amoxicillin<br />
and Tylan. This combination is highly recommended<br />
by Veterinarians to treat a wide range of bacterial<br />
infections, especially respiratory. Use in the fight against<br />
Paratyphoid, E-Coli and more. May be combined with Ronidazole<br />
for the time saving benefit of treating for Canker at the same<br />
time. Contains 20 mg. of Tylan and 10 mg. of Amoxicillin. The powder<br />
is used at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water for 7 days. For<br />
Paratyphoid, treat for at least 21 days. Makes up to 28 gallons. Follow<br />

Doxyvet Liquid<br />
For the treatment of susceptible infections in birds, guinea<br />
pigs, hamsters, rabbits, cats and other small animals. This<br />
is a broad spectrum antibiotic. Active ingredients: 50 mg/ml<br />
doxycycline hydrochloride. Birds: 1 ml (20 drops) per 100 ml of<br />
drinking water. Rodents: 0.15 ml (3 drops) per 100 ml of drinking<br />
water. Treat for 7 days and keep out of direct sunlight. Cats: first<br />
day 2 drops per kg (2.21 lbs.) body weight (2.5 mg/kg) orally for 7-10<br />
days after doxyvet treatment give probiotic to stimulate normal gut<br />
flora. Remove grit during treatment. Birds, guinea pigs, hamsters,<br />
rabbits and cats. See Bromhexine.<br />

Pigeons do not produce a male and a female every time they<br />
hatch out a clutch of 2 eggs. You just never know, it could be<br />
two cocks, two hens or one of each.<br />
5-1 (All In One)<br />
All In One is a powder that gives us the best value and<br />
covers the largest range of health issues. I am not a<br />
strong believer in preventive medication, but I do believe this<br />
product will help keep your flock healthy. Coccidiosis is<br />
probably the most common pigeon health problem and All In<br />
One contains Amprolium and is listed as both a treatment and a preventative<br />
for Coccidiosis. Canker (Trichomoniasis) another common<br />
pigeon health issue is both preventable and treatable. All In One<br />
contains the safe drug, Ronidazole, an effective drug. The third most<br />
common health problem is worms, and All In One contains Levamisole<br />
which treats for most worms with the exception of Tape worms.<br />
Tylan is the drug of choice for respiratory and you’ll find it in All In<br />
One. The fifth ingredient includes probiotics to rebuild gut bacteria<br />
and relieve stress. 2 tsps. per gal for 5 days. Makes 28-30 gallons.<br />

Amoxicillin<br />

as Haemophilus (a respiratory infection). Usual<br />
treatment is 5-7 days, but for Paratyphoid use for at least 21 days.<br />
Powder makes 28-30 gallons. One teaspoon per gallon of drinking<br />
water for 5-7 days. Tablets are for individual treatment. One tablet per<br />
pigeon in the morning and one in the evening for a minimum of 7 days<br />
and ½ tablet for cage birds, morning and evening.<br />

Aureomycin Powder (Chlortetracycline)<br />
This product has been around for decades<br />
and is still effective and popular, as well as<br />
cost effective. When combined with #2501 Tylan Powder, it<br />
is a powerful treatment of any respiratory issue. Aureomycin alone<br />
is also used to combat Paratyphoid, use for 21 consecutive days,<br />
Chlamydia, use for 45 consecutive days. Remove grit when using<br />
Aureomycin. As a preventative, use 1 teaspoon per gallon for 5-7<br />
days. As a treatment use 2 teaspoons per gallon for 5-7 days. Follow<br />
with 2-3 days of a probiotic such as #670 Pro Bios.<br />

Bromhexine Powder by Aviomed<br />
Bromhexine contains the purest and most<br />
potent source of Bromhexine-Hcl. Bromhexine<br />
stimulates the area responsible for clearing<br />
the respiratory system of mucus, bacteria and<br />
dust. It also stimulates excretion of mucus that is less<br />
thick and is excreted more easily. When Bromhexine is combined<br />
with respiratory antibiotics such as Mycoban (#2521) and AvioDox<br />
(#2519) it increases the levels of antibiotics in the lung tissue. Bromhexine<br />
is of tremendous aid in the treatment of respiratory disease<br />
in pigeons. Bromhexine may be combined with any antibiotic<br />
used in the treatment of respiratory disease for the first four<br />
days of treatment. Contains ultra pure, highly potent Bromhexine<br />
Hcl 1% m/m. (Does not contain banned stimulants or doping<br />
agents.) Warning! May only be used in the treatment of sick pigeons<br />
and should be withdrawn 72 hours before a race, training flight or<br />
competitive fly. Never combine with Furazolidone or Furaltadone!<br />
2 teaspoons to a gallon for the first four days of any respiratory antibiotic<br />
