Clay Nest Bowls
The clay type nest bowls have been used for hundreds
of years and are very popular all over the
world. The weight of the clay bowls prevents them
from moving around. This is the Bowl of choice for
my own pigeons, after the breeding season I soak
them in water with bleach in it for 24 hours and when I remove them
they are quite clean and just need wiped and put away for next breeding

Plastic Weave Nest Bowls
Most nest bowls have vent holes
in the bottom of the bowl in order
to vent the bottom to help keep
it dry. The Weave Bowl has more
ventilation than any bowl we offer.
A nest pad must be used
with the Weave Bowl. The Weave Bowl is offered in two sizes. The
Standard Weave Bowl is 9” wide and 3” high and meant for most all
breeds, with the exception of very large breeds such as Runts, House
Pigeons, etc. The small is meant for the many small breeds such as
Rollers, Tipplers, etc. The Small Weave Bowl measures 7” wide and
2” high.

European Plastic Nest Bowls
The standard size is for medium sized birds such
as Racing Homers, Nuns, Helmets, etc. The small
size is for Rollers, Tipplers, Doves and other small
breeds. 4 holes in the bottom to allow ventilation.
To clean, just soak in a bucket with water and
bleach then wipe with a cloth.

TIPS:

another - but this happens very rarely, and the change can only be
from female to male.
• Always follow a course of medications with a probiotic.
• If you are using medications, follow the directions precisely. If you do
not believe this is necessary, try tasting your food after preparing with
twice as much salt then directions call for.
Dandy Nest Bowls
The Dandy Nest Bowls are imported from Belgium
and are second in popularity only to the Clay Bowls.
The Dandy Nest Bowls are a paper mache with a
bit of a rougher surface which is a real benefit. The
Sanitary nest bowls which we have discontinued, have a very smooth
surface, and on occasion, the baby’s legs would slip out to the side,
this is called splayed legs, and because the babies grow so fast, the
splayed leg would be permanent and the baby would never be able to
walk. The rough surface helps prevent splayed legs from happening.
The Dandy Nest Bowl is just a bit larger so it works with just about
all breeds, including the larger ones. Each bowl has large vent holes
on the sides to help keep the bowls dry. 9” across the top and 11”

Lifetime Heavy Nest Bowls
The clay nest bowl has always been a great seller,
because the fancier wanted a nest bowl that was
heavy enough to prevent the pair or young from
pushing it around. The big disadvantage of the clay bowl was that it
broke very easily. The Heavy Nest Bowl solves both of the issues with
a clay nest bowl, it is virtually impossible to break and is very heavy to
prevent the bowl from moving. It is also very easy to clean It is available
in the standard 9" in diameter or the 10 1/2" large breed size.

pair or two, much earlier than normal. Designed around our Heavy
Nest Bowl, the Heated Nest Bowl will not move around and keeps the
young warm.The heat is regulated so that it does not get too warm.

Belgium Nest Bowl
Nine inches across the top, 2 1/2" deep
and 6" across at the base. Rough texturing
allows the babies to get a grip as
they try to stand up. The Belgium plastic
nest bowl is made of hard, practically unbreakable
plastic and is less apt to move
around because of its weight.
